NTT America to Present at and Sponsor 2007 US IPv6 Summit

NEW YORK – NTT America, a wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation, today announced that Stan Barber, VP Product Engineering, will be a featured speaker at the 2007 US IPv6 Summit on Tuesday, March 27th. NTT Communication’s Global IP Network will also serve as a Gold-level sponsor of the event.

Mr. Barber’s presentation, entitled “Lowering the Impact of an IPv6 Transition,” will focus on the pending IPv6 transition and advising companies on the three phases of transition: planning, training and deployment. The federal government has mandated the transition of all federal agencies from Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) to Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) by 2008. In 2006, NTT America launched the NTT Communications IPv6 Consultancy to provide counsel and assistance to enterprises and federal agencies making the transition.

The US IPv6 Summit is the largest IPv6 conference in the United States and it offers attendees the opportunity to receive updates on the latest status on the transition and review new and IPv6 products and services.
