NEW YORK – March 15, 2011 – NTT America, a wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) and a Tier-1 global IP network services provider, today announced that it has partnered with Capacity Media to offer the “Best Practices for Network and Operational Management” technology workshop. The event, which NTT America is sponsoring along with Juniper Networks and Cariden Technologies, will take place on Monday, March 21, 2011 from 12:30 – 6:30 pm at the Renaissance Sao Paulo Hotel in Sao Paulo, Brazil prior to the start of Capacity Latam 2011.
The workshop is designed as a high-level forum to provide Latin American network operators the opportunity to learn from industry experts, such as NTT America, that have significant real-world experience in Network Operations Center (NOC) and operational management. Attendees will also have the opportunity to discuss their own experiences, challenges and successes with the experts, as well as problem solve from theoretical case studies and develop effective strategies to optimize their networks.
“NTT America has broad experience in the Latin American market as well as other emerging markets, so we were thrilled when they offered that expertise for this workshop,” said Ros Irving, managing director of Capacity Media. “Attendees are guaranteed to benefit from the breadth and depth of knowledge NTT America experts have about network and operational management.”
Specific topics that will be covered within the workshop include:
· Effective Management of Your Network Operations: How to Improve Efficiency and Performance of Your NOC and Operations Teams
· Troubleshooting on Your Network: Disaster Recovery Planning Strategies and Problem-Solving Techniques
· Preparing for IPv6: Obstacles and Opportunities
