Company Exhibits at Cloud Partners 2015 in Boston
NEW YORK – September 15, 2015 - NTT America, the wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), the information and communications technology (ICT) solutions business within NTT Group (NYSE: NTT), today announced its Global Solutions Channel Partner Program has surpassed initial expectations by achieving 60 percent of the company’s total goal for secured channel partnerships ahead of schedule. The NTT America Global Solutions Channel Partner team is available to review the terms and conditions, including residual-based payouts, of this partner-friendly initiative with the media and other interested parties at Cloud Partners 2015 from September 16-18 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, MA. Members of the channel community are invited to stop by booth number 300 to schedule a meeting with NTT America’s executives.
To date, NTT America has signed nine leading master agents from all regions of the country and is rounding out a diverse portfolio of respected, connected and supportive industry partners. Once the goal of 15 secured master agents is met, the primary objective of the Global Solutions Channel Partner Program will shift from solidifying new partnerships to strengthening existing relationships and empowering partners to create new business opportunities through the sale of NTT America’s entire suite of domestic and international ICT services. As the portfolio rounds out, the NTT America channel team will further invest in the development, training and education of its channel partners to ensure sub-agents and VARs are equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to secure new business opportunities.
Several factors have contributed to the early success of the NTT America Global Solutions Channel Partner Program. With channel industry veterans at the helm, the program grew quickly; long-term relationships with master agents throughout the U.S., and an intuitive understanding of the technology needs of enterprises and mid-market organizations looking to expand their operations globally, were key to this growth. The program’s success can also be attributed to market demand. Channel partners are capitalizing on enterprise adoption of cloud services by teaming up with global providers that offer innovative and competitive cloud solutions, such as NTT America’s SDN-based Enterprise Cloud. Progress has not been limited to signing master agents; to date, collaborative efforts of the NTT America channel team and its channel partners have resulted in the on-boarding of new customers, demonstrating the program’s ability to generate revenue not just for NTT America but also for its partners.
“With combined experience of more than three decades in the channel industry, Channel Lead Rob Westervelt and Senior Director of Strategy Kevin Goodman have strong track records with leading master agents. Their established relationships help NTT America expedite the contract process and quickly outfit channel partners with the ICT solutions, pre- and post-sales support, and strategic partnership experience they need to close deals,” said Jeffrey Bannister, executive vice president of sales for NTT America’s Global Enterprise Services Business Unit.
“Presidio is a global company, which operates under a vendor agnostic approach to search for partners that complement our advanced IT solutions for customers. As an end-to-end provider of ICT infrastructure, NTT Com is an integral partner to Presidio on an international scale,” said Sanford Brown, Director of Telecom Services for Presidio. “Presidio sees NTT Com as a valued addition to its Telecomm practice because of the company’s long history in the industry, various solutions, and resourceful teams that support growing demand for our services and our extensive customer base.”
“NTT Com’s global reputation and international service offerings were among the primary reasons that Sandler Partners became one of the first distribution partners to join NTT America’s Global Solution Channel Partner Program,” said Alan Sandler, founder and managing partner, Sandler Partners, a leading distributor of Connectivity & Cloud Services with more than 100 suppliers and nearly 3,000 sales partners. “So far, the NTT America team has shown extraordinary flexibility and support in matching and engineering their services to client needs. We are looking forward to an ongoing successful partnership.”
“As a trusted advocate to IT consultants, VARs, and MSPs, it’s important that we partner with experienced providers that offer a full suite of cloud, IP, data and managed services designed to meet customers’ technology needs,” said Ken Mercer, vice president of TBI. “The ICT assets of NTT Com, coupled with the organization’s global reach, qualified channel leadership and dependable support make the company an essential partner to TBI and those we advise.”
