NTT America to Speak at Future-Net 2009

When: Wednesday, May 6, 2009, from 3:45 p.m. EDT to 4:30 p.m. EDT

What: NTT America, a wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) and a Tier-1 global IP network services provider, today announced Doug Junkins, Vice President of IP Engineering for the Global IP Network, NTT America, will speak on a panel at Future-Net 2009. Now in its ninth year, the event is the premier forum for discussion of enterprise and consumer communications services including MPLS and Ethernet, voice and SIP trunking, 3G/4G wireless, and network and application performance management.

Who: Doug Junkins, Vice President of IP Engineering, Global IP Network, NTT America, is responsible for network architecture, tool development and peering relations for NTT Communications’ Global IP Network. Mr. Junkins joins executives from Global Crossing and BT on the IPv6 Carrier Panel on Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at 3:45 p.m. EDT. The panel session is part of the Next Generation Internet and WAN Services Architecture track.

Why: Future-Net is the premier industry event focusing on the next generation of networks with a target audience of enterprises, service providers, and vendors in the communications services arena. Future-Net 2009 will focus on MPLS, Ethernet and beyond, and explore issues such as network neutrality, service provider/enterprise demarcation, international challenges and new triple and quadruple play offerings. This year’s conference has been expanded to include concurrent service provider and enterprise tracks, a special Birds of a Feather (BOF) session conducted by Nemertes Research, all new tutorials, and additional focus areas such as Internet Futures, WAN Optimization, Green IT and Ethernet WAN.
