NTT America Upscaled Its Facility for Arcstar Global IP-VPN in Chicago
NEW YORK, NY -NTT America, the U.S. subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation, the international and long distance service arm of the largest telecommunications company in the world: Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, today announced the opening of a new node in Chicago. Being the latest IP-VPN node in the NTT America network, the node has been installed to further the company's ability to support secure and economical communications services for Midwestern-based multinational corporations with desired connections to Europe and Asia.
NTT's global IP-VPN service was developed in response to customer demand for a solution that marries the ubiquitous nature of an IP network with the reliably, security and guaranteed service of a carrier-controlled network. The company's Global IP Network Operation Centers are monitoring the access circuits and VPN for 24/365 for secure and seamless network transmission.
NTT America's MPLS node provides infrastructure for secure, reliable and scalable MPLS-based IP-VPN solutions. Through this facility, customers in this region enjoy significant cost reduction by having the ability to simply "plug-in" to NTT's global IP-VPN network.
