NTT Global Forum Lands in the United States with Stops in San Francisco and Chicago
Who: NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTT Group (NYSE: NTT), today announced the inaugural U.S. NTT Global Forum will be held in two locations: first, in San Francisco on Tuesday, September 17 and then, in Chicago on Thursday, September 19. Both events will facilitate the exchange of insights on dynamic IT trends and present clear, actionable strategies that can be implemented for success, as well as provide a glimpse into NTT Communications’ technologies that will aid IT leaders of today in tackling the challenges of tomorrow. These invitation only events are open to NTT clients and prospects.
What: The NTT Global Forum will stop in the City by the Bay for the first of two premier events for IT executives and leaders. While the world’s best sailors race state-of-the-art catamarans along the shores of the pristine San Francisco Bay, attendees aboard the classic California Hornblower Yacht will have a prime viewing spot and an opportunity to network with their peers to exchange insights on emerging trends impacting business today. In addition to witnessing the fastest and most technically-advanced catamarans whiz across the water on Day 7 of the America’s Cup, attendees will have an opportunity to engage with a sailing legend. Four-time America’s Cup winner Dennis Conner will deliver the Global Forum’s keynote address, sharing his personal insights into “The Art of Winning” based on a lifetime of achievement. Preceding Conner, attendees will hear David Murphy, President & COO of Blue Coat Systems, discuss the globalization of IT from an NTT client perspective.
Moving east to Chicago, the NTT Global Forum will next land at historic Wrigley Field, bringing together IT executives from Chicago, New York City, Washington D.C. and Boston. This exclusive gathering of IT leaders will learn about NTT Communications’ latest innovations, network with peers, and have a once-in-a-lifetime chance to take the field at this bastion of baseball lore. In addition to taking the field, attendees will hear from, and be able to interact with, a living legend within the Chicago Cubs’ organization – Major League Baseball Hall-of-Famer Billy Williams. Williams will present the keynote address at the Global Forum, “The Traits of a Winner,” a topic which Williams understands well. In addition, Michael Dunne, Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder of ACTIV Financial Systems, will provide an NTT client perspective on his company’s IT challenges and solutions.
Joining the guest speakers at each NTT Global Forum will be Akira Arima, CEO of NTT Communications, Kazuhiro Gomi, CEO of NTT America, and Srini Koushik, CEO of NTT Innovation Institute (NTT I³), sharing their perspectives on competing in a global IT environment and what is required of a global service provider partner.
When: NTT Global Forum San Francisco will be held on Tuesday, September 17 at the America’s Cup. NTT Global Forum Chicago will be held on Thursday, September 19 at historic Wrigley Field.
Why: NTT is a global leader in enterprise cloud, network and security services, with physical reach, financial strength and operational discipline. The company has 220 data centers globally, an AA credit rating and is #32 on the Global Fortune 500. With a research and development (R&D) spend in excess of $3.5B annually, more than 80% of the Fortune 100 select NTT to extend their enterprises around the globe; move, manage and secure their data; and scale to quickly adapt to business challenges and opportunities.
