PeopeSupport Selects NTT America as Primary Leased Line Carrier

NTT America Selected As Preferred Carrier For PeopleSupport's Future Data Communications Needs

NEW YORK, NY - NTT America, the U.S. subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation, the international and long distance service arm of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, the largest telecommunications company in the world, today announced it has been selected by PeopleSupport as the company's premier voice and data communications provider. PeopleSupport is a leading provider of Internet-enabled customer care and eCRM solutions.

"NTT America not only provided the necessary technical support, its engineers displayed flexibility and swiftness in working with us to create the solution," said Abby Hossein, PeopleSupport's Senior Vice President of Global Technology. "In addition to its reliable, seamless, worldwide network, NTT America continues to impress us with its customer service. We were lucky to find NTT and we have been pleased with the overall support we have been receiving."

Under terms of the contract, NTT America provides managed International Private Lines (IPL) to PeopleSupport's global contact centers, where PeopleSupport operates its offshore customer relationship management capabilities. The use of NTT America's IPLs enables PeopleSupport to utilize diverse paths, voice compression devices and VOIP in offering the next generation of high-quality, multiple-channel support for its enterprise clients.

In order to enable cost-effective web-supported customer care, PeopleSupport needed to build a robust voice network to connect its outsourcing networks. NTT America was selected for its U.S. functionality and global presence, coupled with its reputation for the highest level of customer satisfaction. NTT America's managed circuits and experienced system engineering team enabled prompt circuit installment and solution uptime.

"The reliability, security and reach of our network allow PeopleSupport to take advantage of the cost savings posed by global outsourcing," said Dave Ryan, Executive Vice President. "Their bottom line is based on providing the highest level of customer service. Therefore, to be selected by PeopleSupport for our customer service levels is quite an honor."

PeopleSupport enables companies to offer multi-channel Web-supported customer care with a complete view of customer interactions through its CRM platform. The company can provide measurable bottom line results to its clients. PeopleSupport's clients include leading Fortune 500 and eCommerce companies.
