Health and Wellness
Medical and Dental Coverage
Employees and their qualified dependents become eligible for medical and dental insurance benefits on the first day of the month following or coinciding with their initial date of hire. We pay a significant portion of the premiums for both of these benefits.
We pay 100% of the premium for employee’s and their qualified dependent’s vision coverage.
Group Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance
Employees become eligible for Group Life and AD&D Insurance on the first day of the month following or coinciding with their date of hire. The benefit is equal to 2 times the employee’s annual salary, up to a maximum of $650,000. The company currently pays the entire cost of coverage for these benefits.
In addition to the Group Life and AD&D coverage we provide, employees may opt to buy additional term life insurance for themselves and their families through the company.
Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance
Eligible employees may participate in short-term disability and long-term disability insurance on the first day of the month following or coinciding with their date of hire. We cover 100% of the premiums for these benefits. Short-term disability covers you at 100% salary replacement for the first 13 weeks of disability and 60% for the next 13 weeks. Long-Term Disability provides salary replacement at 60% of your monthly salary (up to certain maximums).
MetLaw Hyatt Legal Program
This program allows our employees and their dependents to use participating attorneys for a wide range of legal needs at a significantly discounted cost.
Paid Time Off
The company observes and is closed for business each year on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
Paid Sick and Personal Leave
All regular full-time employees are eligible for 56 hours of sick time each year and 32 hours of personal leave (pro-rated to date of hire).
Full-time employees accrue vacation based on their length of service. The "vacation" year is based on the calendar year (January 1-December 31) and vacation privileges are based on years of employment, as follows:

Finance and Education
We sponsor the NTT America, Inc. Retirement Plan, a 401(k) plan for the benefit of all eligible employees. The current company match is 100% of the first 4% of the employee’s contribution.
All employees who have completed six months of service are eligible to participate in the company's Tuition Reimbursement Program. We will reimburse employees up to $4,000 per calendar year for tuition, laboratory fees and course-related expenses incurred, after the successful completion of an approved course of study.
Employee Assistance Plan
Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) can help employees and their immediate family members with everyday situations and personal difficulties. This is paid for 100% by NTT America.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Employees can set up a flexible spending account (FSAs) to set aside pre-tax money from each paycheck to cover certain non-reimbursable healthcare and dependent care expenses.
The transportation reimbursement program lets employees deduct pre-tax money from each paycheck to pay for eligible transportation expenses. The program is divided into two accounts: The Transit Account allows employees to pay for eligible mass transit or vanpooling expenses, while the Parking Account allows employees to pay for eligible parking expenses.
We are proud to offer identity protection to all employees and their families through InfoArmor to protect against the theft of credit card information and personal data.
InfoArmor’s SNAPD2.0 Identity Monitoring program protects consumers with early detection of financial fraud and security breaches. InfoArmor uncovers security concerns at their inception so they can be resolved before major damage occurs. This benefit is offered at no cost to you and your household members.
International Exchange Program
We offer a variety of programs [E1] that enable employees to experience different cultures and business perspectives and advance their careers on a global level.
Through our Knowledge Exchange Program, employees can work at NTT Communications headquarters in Japan for a six-month period. During this time, they learn about NTT Communications and share their NTT America experience with colleagues in Japan. This direct knowledge transfer is part of what makes NTT a truly global company.
