NTT America Appoints Larry Fisher as its New SVP of Sales

Fisher Brings Valuable Business Development Experience

NEW YORK, NY - NTT America, the wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation the long distance and international service arm of the Global Fortune 500 leader in the telecommunications industry: Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT), today announced that it has appointed Lawrence A. Fisher to Senior Vice President of Sales. In his new role, Fisher will be responsible for leading NTT America's United States Multinational Corporation Sales teams in New York, New England, Chicago, Detroit, Dallas, San Jose and Los Angeles. Fisher is a telecommunications sales veteran with an established track record spanning over 20 years in telecom and strategic development projects.

"Larry's extensive knowledge in telecommunications sales and customer service management is what NTT America needs at this time as we see the industry going through several transformations. His solid leadership will help NTT America be recognized as a leading player in the global telecommunications arena," said Tatsuo Kawasaki, President and Chief Executive Officer of NTT America.

In the capacity of Senior Vice President of Sales with Deutsche Telekom/T-Systems, Fisher was responsible for leading the U.S. sales team and restructuring the sales force around an aggressive market acquisition strategy focused on strategic partnering and converged IT/Telecom solutions. His previous sales positions included Vice President of Strategic Alliances at Qwest Solutions, Vice President of Strategic Accounts at @Link Networks, and Director of Global Accounts at MCI.
